Indigi Studios at the Holba' Pisachi' Native Film Festival

We are proud to announce that Gary “Litefoot” Davis, co-founder of Indigi Studios, recently participated in the Holba' Pisachi' Native Film Festival as a featured filmmaker, where he presented his film, "Strong Hearts: An Indigenous Love Letter to My Sons." This film holds a special place in our hearts, and we were thrilled to share it at a festival dedicated to amplifying indigenous voices and narratives. Davis attended the event with his wife, and IndigiStudios co-founder, Carmen Davis and their three sons Quannah, Sequoyah and Qwnuseia.

Gary Davis has over 30 years of experience in music, fashion, film, television, and media. Throughout his career, he has been committed to bringing authentic indigenous stories to the forefront. His work in "The Indian in the Cupboard" and Netflix's "House of Cards," along with his projects at Indigi Studios, reflects his dedication to representing indigenous voices in meaningful ways.

"Strong Hearts" is a deeply personal film that explores themes of identity, heritage, and family connections. After the screening, Gary gave a special presentation, offering insights into the film's inspiration and the creative process behind it.

“It was wonderful to screen my IndigiStudios film StrongHearts at the festival and to share with the audience afterwards. I’m honored to have been part of this wonderful celebration of indigenous cinema and grateful for the generous and gracious hospitality of the Chickasaw Nation and the Chickasaw Cultural Center”, Davis said.

We at IndigiStudios are grateful to everyone who attended the Holba' Pisachi' Native Film Festival to celebrate indigenous stories and culture. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with others, share our narratives, and honor the diversity and richness of indigenous communities.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to continuing to create and share stories that inspire and empower.
